The Volt 5 marks a new milestone for AirDesign: it's the second generation of the first 2-liner ever certified in the EN-C category. This wing merges the legendary accessibility of the Volt range with cutting-edge technologies from high-performance wings. Agile, smooth to control, and fast, it has been optimized to deliver exceptional efficiency in active air masses and improved glide at high speeds.
The construction incorporates new Nose Guard Patches, reinforcements on the leading edge that increase robustness against abrasion. The use of Dominico DOKDO-10DSF double-coated fabric for the top and bottom surfaces ensures record lightness without sacrificing durability. Nitinol rods along the entire chord not only ensure an impeccable profile in accelerated flight but also allow for compact folding without risk of deformation.
Rear riser control (B-risers) is intuitive and efficient, allowing precise angle of attack control during transitions. Whether you're a performance hike & fly enthusiast or a cross-country mile hunter in the flats, the Volt 5 offers the immense pleasure of 2-liner flying with passive safety that remains exemplary for its class.
