Niviuk Artik R-2: Race Performance in a 2-Liner Version
The Artik R-2 (Race) is Niviuk's new generation EN-C cross-country wing. Designed with an ultra-modern 2-liner architecture, it is positioned between the Artik 6 and the Peak 6. It is aimed at pilots seeking exceptional glide and high top speed to complete large XC triangles while maintaining the passive safety of the C category.
This new version benefits from in-depth work on the internal structure to minimize drag and maximize wing cohesion. Thanks to rear riser control via the standard Ergo Handles, incidence control at high speed is direct and precise, allowing you to cross turbulent areas without deforming the profile or losing performance.
The Artik R-2 stands out with 'Niviuk' handling: direct control, homogeneous turning, and an excellent ability to convert thermals into lift. The use of Nitinol rods ensures perfect profile retention over time and allows for compact folding without risk of deformation.
The Artik R-2 is a high-performance EN-C 2-liner wing. It is intended for pilots with solid experience in thermal and cross-country flying. Although EN-C certified, its 2-liner technology and 'Race' character require active piloting and mastery of rear riser control techniques.
