Niviuk Hook 6 P: Ultra-Light Progression
The Niviuk Hook 6 P (Plume) is the lightweight version of the sixth generation of the renowned Hook. This EN-A+ / EN-B wing is designed to support pilots in their progression, from flight school to their first major cross-country flights, with a significant advantage: a weight reduction of up to 25% compared to the classic version.
Its takeoff behavior is one of its strong points. Thanks to its lightweight structure and the use of Nitinol rods, the wing inflates perfectly smoothly, effortlessly, and without overshooting, even in nil wind. In flight, it offers great stability and exemplary pitch damping, allowing the pilot to remain calm and focus on analyzing the air mass.
Despite its lightness, the Hook 6 P makes no compromises on performance. Its optimized profile offers excellent glide and intuitive turning, allowing for precise thermal centering. It is equipped with unsheathed lines facilitating untangling and high-quality fabrics (Porcher Skytex) for maximum longevity despite its lightweight construction.
The Hook 6 P is an EN-B "Low" certified wing. It is very accessible, but its lightweight (Plume) construction requires particular care during packing and ground handling, especially on abrasive terrain, to preserve the fabric's lifespan.
