NOVA ION 7: The Cross-Country Wing for Everyone
The ION 7 is the heir to a legendary lineage. True to its reputation, it remains a versatile wing suitable for both school graduates and experienced pilots who prioritize safety. This version benefits from the technological advancements of its big sister, the Mentor 7, particularly in terms of stability and accelerated glide.
Thanks to new, state-of-the-art simulation software, NOVA has optimized the 3D cut and cell positioning to minimize wrinkles. The result: improved glide performance and even more intuitive thermal behavior. The ION 7 stands out for its extreme tolerance to pilot input, allowing the pilot to focus on their trajectory and flight strategy rather than managing the wing.
Take-off is remarkably simple, a characteristic of the ION range. The wing rises evenly and stops itself overhead. In flight, it offers exemplary roll and pitch damping, transforming turbulent days into pure pleasure. Its robust construction ensures excellent durability over time, even for pilots who regularly practice ground handling.
