Detailed description
"The Rid'Air team's opinion: The ARC is the wing everyone has been waiting for. It perfectly bridges the gap between pure speed riding (ski) and speed flying (flight). Ozone has created an ultra-stable profile that never overshoots on takeoff and offers incredible damping in turbulence. It's the ultimate 'all-terrain' wing, ideal for safe progression or for experts who want a do-it-all glider."
Ozone ARC: The Perfect Balance Between Flight and Ski
The Ozone ARC redefines the concept of versatility in speed. Designed to be the most accessible and stable speed riding wing in the range, it appeals to both beginners and experienced pilots looking for a predictable and easy glider. Its design focuses on exceptional pitch stability, offering reassuring passive safety in all flight phases.
On the ground, the ARC is a model of simplicity: its inflation is progressive, with no tendency to overshoot, which greatly facilitates ski takeoffs on hard snow or technical "foot-launches". Once in the air, it offers intuitive handling and surprising glide that allows for fluid exploration of the terrain. Its efficient trim system allows switching from a stable "soaring" mode to a more "descent" mode for following the slope.
The robust construction and simplified internal architecture ensure increased longevity, even with intensive mountain use. The ARC is not just a progression wing; it's a pure fun machine that forgives errors while remaining very playful.
The Ozone ARC is a speed riding wing. It requires specific training and adapted practice. Although very stable, it is not intended for traditional free flight (paragliding) or for instruction in standard paragliding schools.
