Ozone Zeolite 2 GT: X-Alps Performance for Everyday Flying
The Zeolite 2 GT is the "comfort" and durable evolution of the wing used by top athletes in the Red Bull X-Alps. Classified as EN-D, this 2-liner wing represents the pinnacle of Ozone technology for distance hike & fly (Hike & Fly Performance). The "GT" suffix means the wing uses slightly more robust materials for greater longevity without sacrificing its ultra-light character.
Technically, it benefits from the entire heritage of the Enzo and Zeno series. Its 2-line architecture allows for a drastic reduction in drag and offers extremely precise rear-riser control (B-riser control), enabling perfect glide even at high speeds in turbulence. Its complex internal structure ensures remarkable wing cohesion, transforming the slightest lift into altitude gain.
The performance gain compared to the first generation is notable, especially upwind and in accelerated transitions. Despite its competition-level performance, the Zeolite 2 GT remains surprisingly easy to launch in varied conditions, an essential criterion for committed mountain flying.
The Zeolite 2 GT is a demanding EN-D wing. It is intended exclusively for expert pilots who fly regularly, have perfect mastery of 2-liner wing control, and are proficient in recovery techniques for flight incidents in the performance category.
