The Way vario variometer is a compact instrument designed for paraglider pilots. It measures and indicates changes in climb and descent rates to optimize flight.

Getting Started:
Ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly inserted, with the + side on the metal contact
Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button 3 times if you wish to use the descent alarm.
Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button 4 times if you do not wish to use the descent alarm.
The variometer emits startup beeps.
Attach the variometer to your harness, cockpit, or hang it using the provided attachment.
Turn off the device by pressing the ON/OFF button once.
The variometer emits 2 shutdown beeps.
Usage:
Climb: beeps from 0.05 to 10 m/sec, 1.5 to 4 beeps/sec
Descent: deep descent alarm at -5 m/sec if activated upon startup.
Volume: preset in factory settings to optimize power consumption.
Silence mode before takeoff: The variometer activates after detecting a -80cm variation.
Battery Replacement:
Battery replacement (CR2032)
Open the casing.
Gently remove the circuit board and extract the used battery (do not use metal tools)
Insert a new CR2032 battery, observing the polarity (+ side up).
Carefully close the compartment.
⚠️ Never use rechargeable batteries or batteries of a different size.
Usage Precautions:
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not immerse the device in water.
Do not expose to excessive heat (> 50 °C).
Do not disassemble or modify the device.
In case of severe impact, check for proper functioning before flight use.
Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
